Will lunch be provided?
Lunch is not provided at WinMUN, however, we are fortunate enough to be located just minutes away from the heart of downtown Winchester— full of cafes, restaurants, and quick eats! On the day of the conference, we will have a handpicked list of our favorite places to eat that are not only affordable but also walkable (hooray for WBA!)
Can delegates use devices in committee?
Delegates can only use devices (computer, laptop, iPad, etc.) during committee sessions in GA: UN DESA, but not in Specialized: Free Britney, JCC: Chicago, 1924 and Ad-Hoc: Marvel. However, delegates in GA: UN DESA will only be able to use devices during unmoderated caucuses (unmods) or other specific periods at the dais’ discretion.
What is prewriting?
Prewriting is strictly prohibited at WinMUN and occurs when delegates write parts of resolutions/crisis notes, etc. before the start of committee session. Delegates are encouraged to reach out to their dais to report any incident of prewriting in committee.
